Ukulele? What? Yeah. I bough a Uke thanks to my Mother's musician friend, Alana. I started to play the Uke for about humm, a week-two. I seriously just started and know almost any basic chord that can be played on it, that's just a start. I already started to learn few techniques and ways to play the Uke. My new goal (that is going to be added to the rest) is to play outside in my city, in the streets (of course the most visited by tourist) and that will get me a good attention and maybe, I'll get to have contacts with professional musicians (or other connections) that can manage to find me a place where I can make shows. The Ukulele is an amazing instrument, with many things to discover and to try, makes everything just happier, like playing Radiohead without making one of their songs sound negative or sad. I consider learning it is not hard and pretty fast for musicians. The sound of the Ukulele helps me to relax and to those around me, which is pretty admirable on the first sight when played in public. That's why I think it would be a great success. So come on you guys, it's summer time, move your butts and start to learn a thing you never though of starting to learn, or just do something completely out of your daily schedule. It can just make you feel more flexible and will add another memorable part to your personality. Come on.......Finish reading and I am serious, get up from the computer and move your but.
Since 2003, I have Hotmail as my main e-mail. I never though changing it because my sister made it to me while coming to visit in Canada. Since then, I used it to talk to close family and friends, in Israel and all over the world. The problem lately about hotmail is about the junk mail I get, every day, I get at least 2 junk mails and that is so annoying, when you wait for someone to answer an important e-mail and you see, "New e-mail" pop-up you right away want to chek what it is and I always get these annoying junk mails (nobody really likes to e-mail me ,,,haha) I found out that G-mail is a much better e-mail because it is protected from junk mail. I use currently g-mail.
Want to write me? I would like to start a new thing called : Asking Jo. Every week I will get few mails of you guys with questions about everything (very random) and I will answer them. By the way sorry for the 4 month absence I was very busy doing my own stuff and I remembered that I needed to write something to update here. So here it is guys. Sorry.
Yes, finally 2011. Yes, it's time to a fresh new start. Yes, it's time to say Yes. (~TO LIFE~). I hope this year will be great to all you guys, I really hope this year will be even better than 2010. This year is a year you should start discovering new things, new people , new friends, new everything, it's never too late to "get a life". My year didn't start really good though I do look at it really positively , I went out with my dog Kaysee and stepped on some crap and all my shoe was full of shit and I felt bad starting the year this way, but maybe this crap meant something, maybe it's point was to show me that I'm stronger and I am much mature than last year and that I can handle "crap" and I hope the message I got is true, I think I just stepped on some crap but I didn't felt on and it didn't get to my mouth so I am higher than that and I just can step on it! (Sorry for being so annoying with this crap thingy). Anyways, I feel good this year , I feel I can change the regular life I had to something much stronger and new and that's what is happening, I started to work , I'm going to have a bank account , I am economizing to buy a good Canon 550D and I want to start driving! So everything will go just great. Oh, and of course, a girlfriend ... I wish everyone A Happy New Year and good luck with whatever you are doing to succeed !
So the story of this year's Christmas is quiet interesting. I never had so much Christmas exitement energy and I really mean it. It all started in the end of the month of November. I atend the German Christmas Market in the old city like every year with close people to me like my neighbors and\or friends. I had a very good time there this year without forgetting that my friend won a night at King David's hotel ticket, which by the way is going with my other friend and that's amazingly impolite. But this day was full of fun activities. After a while , I went with a friend of mine to the American Colony's Christmas Market . I heard about it from the super extraordinary english teacher at school that was suposed to meet us there. When we came we felt really shy at first , this Christmas market was smaller than the german but we had the Christmas spirit ! So , the pre-Christmas events were really succesful in a country you can't always find the right place to celebrate that (espcially that your father doesn't celebrate it). Christmas itself was really spontanic , I knew about that I could celebrate it only few hours before the Christmas eve. And so everything went really GOOD. I went to eat at my neighbor's house to make a nice supper for Christmas's eve. We laughed, drank wine , sang Christmas songs ( I played the piano ) and had a great time. We then decided we will go to the American Colony , because then again , my english teacher invited us to celebrate christmas there promissing a very nice place with a singing group, singing Christmas carols, wine, nuts . We went there for a short time, it seemed that many of the people already got to their homes. So we heard those Carol singers and ate fruits. The next stop was : The Old City. We went there at about 9:30 I guess and we wanted to get into the Redima Church ( a german lutheran church , the same church we went to the first Christmas market) and when we saw the number of people who wanted to enter it was minimizing our hope to enter inside! Ther was a man that was standing there and told us we need to have a ticket to get inside, but if we don't have one we can wait in the other entrence of the church so if there will be so place left they will let us in. But , unfortunatly they didn't . A gentleman came to us and said that there is no hope to enter , BUT there was a service at the Christ curch (also in the Old City). We were lucky because there wasn't much place left! And there was a nice lady who was giving people some Christmas cookies. So we went inside and there was a program of nine little lessons about the Bible and Sining Carols! We had really fun in a very beautiful church, it's a shame it started at 10:30 because we were already very tierd. So we got home really late. And I though my father wasn't at home, but surprisingly I saw him sitting there with his girlfriend on the sofa and after a while I went to my room and just fell on the bed and felt asleep.
